Ethan Kirwin, CVA
Managing Principal
Head of Valuation
Ethan is the Founder and Managing Principal of Ke Advisors. Prior to founding the firm, he held roles at HSBC across Investment Banking and Global Markets Research, including Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Equity Research, and U.S. Economics.
As the driving force behind the firm, Ethan brings a rare combination of transaction execution experience, market insight, and analytical rigor to the valuation process. Over the course of his career, he has advised on leveraged buyouts (LBOs), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and recapitalizations with a cumulative transaction value exceeding $70 billion, developing a practical understanding of how investors and lenders assess value in complex, real-world situations.
Ethan built a strong foundation in equity research, where he developed rigorous valuation frameworks and delivered investor-focused insights across a wide range of sectors. This experience was complemented by his work as a U.S. economics analyst, equipping him with a macroeconomic perspective that informs how interest rates, policy decisions, and economic cycles shape valuation outcomes.
Ethan founded Ke Advisors on the belief that high-quality valuation services should combine institutional-grade analytical discipline with a thoughtful, client-centric approach. This philosophy is rooted in his experience advising on complex, high-value transactions – where clarity, precision, and trust are paramount. As a result, the firm partners closely with clients to deliver independent, defensible valuations that stand up to scrutiny and support critical financial decisions.
